Movie Junky.

It is a good bonding when it comes to movie marathon. HAHA And so I've decided to post something about movies. Eh? So you can have a clue on what to watch, whether it is romance, action, comedy or even horror. TOP 10 Korean Movies.

FIRST OFF!

1. Windstruck

This is the prequel of the huge hit movie My Sassy Girl. Although they release it after My Sassy Girl, somehow I've realize in the end that it is its prequel. HAHA This one's good, it brought me to tears and laughter. A MUST WATCH. It is a story of a police woman who met a highschool teacher by mistake, she thought that the teacher is a criminal so she arrested it and made him a slave. At the end of the story, they both fell inlove but something happened to the high school teacher and that is what you will discover if you watch this. HAHA =))

2. A Millionaire's First Love

Jae-kyung is a high school senior but he skips school often. Once he turns nineteen years old, he is going to be a millionaire. However, the day before he inherit the fortune, his family lawyer tells him about the will from his deceased grandfather. It is specified that he can inherit the fortune only if he graduates from Boram High School, which is located in the countryside. He has no choice but to go there. Life changes a lot for him at Boram High School. He can't use his credit card or even drive his sports car! Meanwhile, as Jae-Gyeong attends this school, he meets Eun-hwan. She is different from the other people living in the country and seems to have some kind of secret. Jae-Gyeong starts to change his attitude, and Eun-hwan’s secret is about to be revealed.
Who can never forget their first loves? Well, personally this one brought me to tears the most. The fact that the girl is ill and she can never be cured. :( Plus Hyun Bin's acting here is very convincing.

3. A Moment To Remember

Kim Su-Jin, a 27 year old fashion designer, being spurned at the train station by her lover, a colleague who is also a married man. Depressed, she goes to a convenience store where she bumps into a tall handsome man with whom she has a slight misunderstanding. Following that, she returns home and receiving the forgiveness of her father, decides to start life afresh. One day while accompanying her father, who is the head of a construction site, in making his rounds, she coincidentally meets the man whom she earlier bumped into at the convenience store. He is Choi Chul-Soo, the construction site's foreman who is also aiming to become an architect. Chul-Soo may appear like a rough and dirty construction worker initially, but he does exude sheer masculinity in its most basic physical form and is pretty handy when it comes to carpentry or house repairs. Su-Jin instantly takes a liking to Chul-Soo and in what is a refreshing change, actively courts Chul-Soo. There are many sweet events that take place in the event of their courtship which eventually lead to their marriage. From here though, things quickly go downhill. Su-Jin soon finds that she has contracted AlzheimerÂ's disease and the rest of the movie depicts how she slowly and painfully loses bits of her memory until she totally cannot remember anything. Even more painful is seeing Chul-Soo agonise while watching the wife he loves dearly forget even who he is. The ending isbittersweet one but at least offers a glimpse of hope.
ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE. This one kills the story. A heart felt story that bought me to a though that What if I got that kind of illness? How sad. But the fact that her husband never fails to leave her is just heroic. His love to his wife is just romantic. It is true that you will care for each other for sickness and health.
4. Hello School Girl

Yun-woo Kim works as a low level civil servant in a district office. Although he is thirty, he is still innocent for his age and has been on numerous unfruitful blind dates in search of a suitable wife. After moving to a new place, he runs runs into Soo-yong Han, a high school student who lives downstairs. Soo-young Han is a cheerful and eccentric eighteen-year-old who lives with her mother that acts like a princess. Meanwhile, Sook Kang has just started to work at the district office straight after graduating from high school and falls head over heels for Ha-kyuing Kwon, a melancolic woman who always smokes in the same spot, becuase of her beautiful smile. Ha-kyung is still holding onto an old flame and keeps on looking for traces of that love every day. Sook Kang continues to keep wooing her, irregardless of her living in the past. Can their futures lead to a happy ending?

Such a cute story for every teenager. You will definitely fall in love with this movie. It is just simple yet very remarkable. It makes you fall in love and be young again.

5. Baby and Me

Joon-soo is a tough 18 year old high school kid that loves to cause trouble. He often gets in fights, once with 17 other guys, but always comes out as the victor. Then one day Joon-soo's parents decides to go out of town. Joon-soo decides then and there to throw a party at his parent's home. He then goes shopping for groceries and comes upon an unexpected surprise. A little toddler sits in a shopping basket wearing the name tag "Han Wooram" and points to Joon-soo as his father! He then takes the baby home and tries to find the baby's real parents. When he can't find the parents, Joon-soo even tries to abandon the baby but always fails. He then takes the kid to school which causes further scandal and a suspension. But during this time an unexpected event occurs between Joon-soo and Woo-ram…

Jang Geun Suk's acting here is very cute ^^ His attitude of being a young father is just too cute to watch. HAHA :) Plus the baby is cute. But yeah, there is a huge twist in this story. It also has a sad part in the end. :)

6. My Sassy Girl

My Sassy Girl is the smash hit of 2001. It tells the story of a young man not knowing what to do with his life, and a girl young sassy girl who turns his world upside down.

WHO CAN NEVER FORGET HIM AND HER? HAHAHAHA I was bursting into laughter and *kilig here. =))) I think My Sassy Girl is much cooler than Windstruck. :)

7. 100 days with Mr. Arrogant

After being dumped by her boyfriend just before their 100 day anniversary, Ha-Young (Ha Ji-Won) meets a college guy named Hyung-Joon when she accidentally kicks a can that hits him in the face and causes him to scratch his Lexus. He demands she pay him $3000 on the spot. She escapes from him, leaving her wallet behind. Hyung-Joon stalks her, demanding money to pay for his car. Since she is a poor high school student Hyung-Joon writes up a "Enslavement Agreement" for Ha-Young in order to pay for the damage to his car. Ha-Young is thrown into a nightmarish slave life for 100 days, cleaning his house, running his errands, doing his homework and cleaning his car. By accident she finds out that the damage to Hyung-Joon's car only costs $10! She then takes her revenge. However, before she knows it Hyung-Joon shows up at her house as her new tutor! He once again takes advantage of her, but soon Ha-Young finds herself falling head over heels for Hyung-Joon. But what happens when he drops out of her life just when she needs him most? The original Korean title can be literally translated as "my love, the asshole," or, more roughly, as "my love, the no-manners".

IT IS A ROMANTIC COMEDY. :) Ha Ji Won is a great actress. HAHA This is a story of LOVE WILL MAKE A CHANGE ON YOU. Love is powerful and she shows it here. Love will make you become someone better. :)

8.  Little Black Dress

"Little Black Dress" depicts the friendships, jealousies, hopes and failures of four 24-year-old girls. The girls first met as first year students in college. They seem to be enjoying their 20's, but inside they all have worries. Yoo-Min (Yoon Eun-Hye) still doesn't know what she wants to do. Somehow she gets a job as an assistant to a top writer. Yoo-Min wasn't even sure if she would take the job as an assistant, but after seeing an expensive black mini dress at luxury department store she buys the dress with the writer's credit card and in the process accepts the job. Yoo-Min's job turns out to be more of a babysitter for the writer's twin sons. By chance, Yoo-Min runs into high-school acquaintance Young-Mi who also works as a writer's assistant. Hye-Ji (Park Han-Byul) is busy playing around and living the life of a socialite. One day, she is scouted by a talent agency. She then becomes the face for a high profile ad campaign and shoots to stardom. Her other 3 friends become jealous of her. Soo-Jin (Cha Ye-Ryeon) holds the most jealousy over Hye-Ji's sudden fame, because she has tried unsuccessfully to become an actress. Soo-Jin has failed many different auditions. Compounding her problems, her father's business has gone bankrupt. Min-Hee (Yoo In-Na) has rich parents, but her parents got divorced. Min-Hee now wants to study abroad, but her poor English skills holds her back.

Its all about friendship and how it is tested. Hmm, I like this because it an all girl story and I somehow can relate. I somehow still doesnt know what I want to be and that makes the whole story. Also jealousy takes place here, because of one's jealousy, one may got hurt but at the end, friends are still friends. No one can destroy that.

9. Jenny and Juno

The film centers on the title characters of Jenny and Juno , two fifteen year old middle school students whose one night of romance has dramatic consequences for both their lives. After careful deliberation, the two expectant parents decide to keep the baby. However, they also decide to keep the pregnancy a secret from everyone, even their families. But just how long will Jenny and Juno be able to hide the truth from their parents?

It tells us the story of two loving couple who encounter a big problem and that is early pregnancy. I think this is my first pregnancy-thing movie. HAHA Its a good story for those who can relate. :)

10. I AM HAPPY

A man (Hyun-Bin) suffers from mental illness after having lived with a mother suffering from dementia and a brother addicted to gambling. Now institutionalized, he falls in love with a nurse (Lee Bo-Young) at the psychiatric hospital.

This one makes me burst into tears. :( :( HYUN BIN ISSSSSSSSS. :( Tssssss. YOU MUST WATCH THIS.

That's all. I hope I make your movie marathon much easier. TILL NEXT TIME. Happy watching! ^^
